Landfill
- Portfolio of 7 active landfill sites in areas of need. The portfolio comprises further sites at various stages of closure, restoration and/or aftercare that offer many and varied development opportunities. There are also several "mothballed" sites which will be reopened over time as local supply decreases
- c. 17.1 million cubic metres of consented void available with a further c.4.5 million cubic metres in our mothballed sites. There is further scope to increase this subject to planning and permitting
- 95% of waste taken into Valencia's landfills is non- hazardous
- Volume, gate fees and type of waste of individual sites are dynamic and vary by local market conditions. 4 sites have the capability to take asbestos waste
